At Tate's Totz & Teenz ...
We are focused on providing enriching caregiving services.
We are a 3-STAR program monitored by the State of TN Licensing Department. We operate on Knox County School schedule and observe all State & Federal Holidays. All closings will be posted ahead of time on this site, on our voicemail and sent to parents and guardians through our call system.
Our nutritional provider for all meals is Our Daily Bread of TN.
Each member of our loving staff are thoroughly screened before working with us through L1 Identity solutions.

Health
All students are required to have a physical and shot record on file while here at our facility. We do not administer medications.
Hand washing is exercised multiple times a day, every day while we sing songs such as "The Wheels on the Bus".
All students are required to have a change of clothes. If a student uses diapers and/or pull ups, it is required that a supply be left in their classroom with their name labeled on it.
All students are prompted for nap time. 2 inch mats are provided for ages 1+ as well as cribs for infants. All students assigned mats and sheets are cleaned weekly.
Safety

All staff undergo training provided by various companies to ensure proper supervision.

All accidents are reported and filed as well as signed by parents. Biting is considered an accident here at our facility and each parent will be contacted when an accident has occurred.

We operate on a 3 strike discipline policy resulting in a “time out” if a third strike is reached.

Fire drills are practiced monthly in our facility.

Any reports of child abuse will be reported through the child abuse hotline.
